In joining our team, you will have an opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact on the children and families of our region, which is made up of nearly 3 million people. Given our proximity to Mexico, we are the first contact with U.S. healthcare for many of our patients, and we are the designated children’s hospital for immigrant and refugee health. We are a teaching program and work closely with medical students as well as Pediatrics and Family Medicine residents from TTUHSC EP. There are ample opportunities for medical education, research, QI, advocacy, and immigrant health. The El Paso region is one of the safest cities in the U.S., has a low cost of living, and is full of sunshine (300+ days per year). We boast vast hiking trails in one of the most biodiverse deserts in the world and are close to ski resorts in New Mexico. We pride ourselves in being a culturally-immersive hidden gem. Our team, the children, and their families would greatly benefit from your expertise. In addition, El Paso qualifies as an underserved site through the National Health Service Corp Loan repayment program. TTUHSC EP offers Visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
