Description: The course is designed to delivering an overview of current research advances and clinical practice strategies in neonatal nephrology, including acute kidney injury (AKI), fluid balance, congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT), and understanding AKI as a multisystem disease. This session will also include clinical and case-based management of end stage kidney disease (ESKD), hyperammonemia, AKI/ oliguria, and critical congenital cardiac disease in critically ill neonates. The speakers will aim to help foster ideas for future research, quality improvement projects, and improved care.
