Workshop Description: This condensed half-day workshop, organized by the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) as part of the meetID program, introduces premedical students, medical students, residents, and early-career health professionals to the field of pediatric infectious diseases (PID). The workshop covers the key roles of PID career exploration, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the importance of diversity in the field. Participants will engage in interactive discussions and networking with PID experts and mentors, with a focus on fostering diversity and inclusivity.
