In this session, invited speakers will discuss the harms and benefits of common pediatric HEENT procedures (e.g. tympanostomy tubes, frenotomy, and wisdom tooth extractions). We will discuss the value of these procedures and whom may benefit most from surgical intervention. We will conclude with a question and answer session for our speaker panelists to answer any additional questions.

Learning Objectives:

Review the harm and benefit profiles of common HEENT procedures
Examine whether these procedures are high value for the majority of patients and describe which populations may best benefit from these procedures
Discuss potential opportunities and barriers to improving the healthcare value of common pediatric surgeries.
