This workshop highlights the various career pathways available to Latino professionals and trainees in academic medicine, focusing on clinical practice, medical education, and research. The session will open with a panel discussion featuring Latino clinician-leaders, educators, and researchers who will share their experiences, strategies for success, and advice on balancing cultural identity with professional growth. A guest speaker will then present their research, focusing on one of the career paths and demonstrating how their work has impacted Latino child health or influenced policy and practice. Following this, participants will break into discussion groups based on their interest in clinical, education, or research tracks. Participants will also be provided with opportunities to move between groups if there are overlapping interests. Each group will engage in guided discussions, led by experts, to explore strategies for career advancement, mentorship, and integrating Latino identity into their work.
