🌺 Join us in beautiful Hawai'i for yet another engaging Continuity SIG session! 🌺
Aloha! Continuity folks, get ready to dive into an enriching and interactive session and soak in the vibrant spirit of Hawai'i! 🌴
We'll start with our usual introductions and the latest from the CORNET research network and SIG news, then catch up on crucial changes in pediatric resident education in the continuity setting. The highlight of our session will be a dynamic gallery walk/small group session focusing on Social Drivers of Health. Together, we'll explore screening strategies, identify resources inside and outside the office that can help patients/families, and brainstorm ways to effectively teach pediatric residents to connect their patients with resources both during their continuity days and after.
Come for the camaraderie, stay for the intel, and leave with actionable plans to enhance the care you provide in your continuity clinics. See you in Hawai'i! 🌺🌊
N.B.: we are applying for an ancillary session where we will plan to (1) host our popular Quick Conti Consults and (2) split into some interest groups to discuss (a) continuity changes since X+Y (b) direct observations, how to get them done and how they may inform EPAs/milestones and (c) with rise of patient portal messages, how people handle the non-direct patient care stuff (portal, messaging, and paper) that just happen. Keep your fingers crossed we get this extra time awarded to us and look for it in your program – it may be on an entirely different day!
