The Neonatal Hemodynamics Club addresses clinically relevant topics in neonatal-perinatal medicine with a special focus on developmental cardiovascular physiology and neonatal hemodynamics. The topic for 2025 will explore the hemodynamic physiology in extreme preterm infants and targeted therapy of Patent Ductus Arteriosus. Our first speaker will review the evidence on early targeted management of PDA and discuss pros and cons of this approach. Our second speaker will appraise the evidence for physiologically targeted therapies in different cardiovascular phenotypes. We will discuss the possible next steps to understand what is optimal management in these high risk hemodynamic states.
There will be time set aside for audience questions and discussion to allow the audience to interact with our expert speakers.
