Workshop Description: This workshop highlights the significant advancements and successes of Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care within the realm of pediatric nephrology and also highlights recent trainee and early stage investigator impactful published research. This session will provide examples of successful QI projects, including how they were developed and implemented and "lessons learned". The first speaker will discuss the strategies to improve recognition of chronic kidney disease in the electronic medical record. The second speaker will discuss the steps to improve documentation and follow up of neonatal acute kidney injury. This will be followed by 4 oral presentations of noteworthy articles published by junior investigators in the last year.
