Session Description: This session features award winning science selected by the Society for Pediatric Research (SPR) including work in the intersection of hematology and infectious disease, concussion research, high value care practices for late preterm and term infants, and complications of eosinophilic esophagitis.

Learning Objectives:

Describe the mechanisms contributing to complications of eosinophilic esophagitis and the health disparities affecting treatment patterns.
Define high value care practices for late preterm and term infants during the birth hospitalization.
Describe the relationship between stimulation of the immune system and bone marrow function.
