Dr. Michelle Starr MD MPH FAAP FASN is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with joint appointments in Pediatric Nephrology and Children's Health Service Research at Indiana University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed Pediatric Residency and Chief Residency, as well as Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, WA. Dr. Starr’s clinical and research interests lie in improving the kidney-related outcomes of children born prematurely, with a particular focus on the role of acute kidney injury and fluid overload on both short and long-term outcomes in infants admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
