Jeremy Sandgren, MD PhD, is a 3rd year neonatal-perinatal medicine fellow at the University of Iowa. He aspires to be a physician-scientist with a basic science laboratory . His interests include neonatal immunology, infection, and hemodynamics. Currently, he is mentored by Jennifer Bermick and is studying the role of iron in a murine model of neonatal early onset sepsis.
