Are we there yet? Finding our way to better QI programs for trainees and faculty in healthcare organizations.
A key tenet of quality improvement (QI) in healthcare organizations is a focus on continuous iterative improvements, but as we develop and implement QI programs, how do we know if we are on the right track? In this session we will describe key characteristics of successful QI programs for trainees and faculty in healthcare organizations; engage in an open-panel discussion with QI leaders; and offer the opportunity for attendees to dive deeper into these topics through small group discussions. Lastly, attendees will incorporate what they have learned into a roadmap to guide QI programming at their home institution.
